What clients are saying

Repointing
Our coastal climate eventually decays the joints of stone masonry. If your building, retaining wall, garden bed or walkway looks weathered, it is already past due for repair. Done correctly, repairing and renewing the pointing (mortar joints) extends a stone structure’s lifespan by keeping it intact and dry. Done poorly, repointing compromises durability and damages historic identity. The appearance and character of stonemasonry owes as much to the quality of the mortar joints as to the stones. Quality repointing considers the joints’ texture, profile, width and finishing—clean, not dirty. Our European techniques achieve outstanding results.
Parging
When parging on a wall, chimney or foundation is in disrepair, it is unsightly and damaging. Parging is prone to flake, crack and break in our yo-yo Maritime weather. So keeping up with parging repair is important maintenance to protect your property. It takes more than slapping on cement or mortar. Masonry expertise is needed to assess the state of repair, determine the right materials and use sound technique. Plus our ultra smooth finish makes for the freshest appearance. We aim for parging to have an extended life so repair is one less thing on your future to-do list.
